An Indian twist to the famous Mexican dish!
Quesadilla is a popular Mexican dish. If you are visiting some high-end American/Mexican restaurant in India, you would get this recipe to eat but at 300–400 rupees at least. Here is how you can cook Quesadilla at home suiting Indian taste buds.
Ingredients
- Maida (All purpose Flour): 1 cup
- Atta (Wheat Flour): 1 cup
- Mozerella cheese: 1 cup
- Veg Mayonnaise
- Veeba Cheese and Jalapeno Dip
- Tomato Ketchup
- Boiled Sweet Corn: 1 cup
- Capsicum: 2
- Tomatoes: 2
- Onions: 2
- Mushrooms: 1/2 cup cut
- 1/2 tbsp Baking powder
- Oregano
- Chaat Masala
- Chilli Flakes
- Salt as per taste
- 1/2 tbsp Black Pepper
- Butter
Tortilla Recipe

- Take equal amount of Maida and Aata.
- Add some baking powder.
- Knead a soft dough with warm water.
- Cover it and keep for 20 min aside to rise.
- Roll it into a round roti. It should be thinner & larger than a roti in size.
- Cook the tortilla ‘partially’ ’from both sides till colour changes from both sides. Make sure not to cook it thoroughly.
- Cover it and keep it aside.
Sauce Recipe
- Take six full spoons of white veg mayonnaise.
- Add three full spoons of ‘Veeba Cheese and Jalapeno Dip.’

- Add two spoons of Tomato ketchup.
- Add oregano, chilli flakes & chaat masala for taste.
Filling Recipe
- Take corn, onions, capsicum, mushrooms, tomatoes etc. Cut into fine pieces.
- Fry them in butter.
- Add salt and black pepper as per taste.
- Keep aside till it cools down.
- Add grated mozzarella cheese. The more the cheese, the better the taste.
Final Assemble
- Take a tortilla, apply some butter over it.
- Now apply the sauce we prepared before.
- Add fillings in one half of the tortilla.
- Now fold the tortilla from the other side.

- Fry the tortilla in butter on a pan from both sides for 2 minutes each.
- Take off the quesadilla on a plate.
- Serve hot! It is filled with melted cheese. It is spicy, cheesy, creamy & saucy and 100% Vegetarian. 🙂
