An easy recipe of the exotic Italian dish.
Lasagne is considered an exotic dish in India. Some people think that it might be a complicated thing to cook. But, honestly, it’s quite easy and fun. You need white sauce, red sauce, some veggies or chicken, lasagne Sheets and mozzarella cheese.
Follow this recipe. The taste would be delicious. Ideal for cooking during parties and get together.
1. Red Sauce

Ingredients:
- 5–6 Tomatoes.
- Ginger Garlic Paste: 2 tbsp.
- Oil, Oregano, Chilli Flakes, Black Pepper, Sugar and Salt as per taste.
Preparation:
- Chop the tomatoes into medium size pieces.
- Take a pan, add some oil. Let it heat.
- Add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste and other seasonings mentioned above. Mix it will.
- Cover the pan. Let it cook for 10 min in slow flame. After that, turn off the gas.
- Grind the mixture to fine paste after it cools down.
- Red sauce is ready.
2. White Sauce

Ingredients:
- Butter: 2 tbsp.
- Maida(All purpose flour): 2 tbsp.
- Milk
- Oregano, Chilli Flakes, Black Pepper and Salt as per taste.
- Cheddar Cheese (optional)
Preparation:
- Take equal amount of butter and maida in a pan. Fry the maida for 2 min.
- Add milk slowly while whisking the mixture. Make sure it does not form lumps.
- Let the milk boil.
- Cook for 5 min.
- Add the seasonings mentioned above.
- Add cheddar cheese. It will enhance the taste. If cheddar is not available, you may ignore this.
- Turn off the gas. Let the sauce cool down.
3. Vegetable Mix
Ingredients:
- Three onions
- Three spinach
- Corn
- 2 Carrots
- Any other veggie such as Mushroom, Olives, Jalapeno etc. (if available)
- Tomato ketchup
- Salt, oregano, chilli flakes and black pepper as per taste.
Preparation:
- Cut all vegetables to small pieces.
- Fry them with salt, oregano, chilli flakes, tomato ketchup and black pepper.
Finally: Lasagne
Ingredients:
- Lasagne Sheets (Available in market/online)
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Red Sauce, White Sauce & vegetable mix as described above.
Preparation:
Using convection microwave/oven:
- Take an oven-safe bowl. Add a layer of red sauce at the bottom of the container.
- Now add a lasagne sheet. Now add some white sauce. Spread it. Now add veggies. Spread them. Now add mozzarella cheese. Spread it. Now add a lasagne sheet.
- Repeat the above order (1–2 more times). Make multiple layers.
- Now add mozzarella at the top.
- Preheat the convection microwave/oven to 180°C for 20 min.
- Now place the bowl in the oven. Cook it for 20 min at 180°C.
- Lasagne is ready.
Using nonstick pan on flame:
- Take a nonstick pan. Add a layer of red sauce at the bottom of the bowl.
- Now add a lasagne sheet. Now add some white sauce. Spread it. Now add veggies. Spread them. Now add mozzarella cheese. Spread it. Now add a lasagne sheet.
- Repeat the above order (1–2 more times). Make multiple layers.
- Now add mozzarella at the top.
- Place the pan on the heat. Cover the pan. Cook it in low flame for 20 min.
- Lasagne is ready.
